Getting started

This guide provides detailed information on interacting with the Metric API to access the various features and functionalities offered by the Metric product. Developers can now leverage the powerful capabilities of Remote Verifications.

What is Remote Verification?

Remote verification is a simple yet effective process that involves the following steps:

  1. Generating a unique token: The Metric API generates a unique token that serves as a key identifier for the verification process.
  2. Generating a unique verification link: The individual being verified will receive a distinctive verification link to initiate the verification process.

Metric API features

The Metric API offers two essential functions related to Remote Verifications:

  • Generating Tokens

With just a single API call, developers can generate a unique token which will send a verification link to the the individual being verified. This process ensures that each verification link has its own distinct token, enhancing security and traceability.

  • Tracking Verifications

The Metric API enables developers to efficiently monitor and retrieve updates on the progress of each verification process associated with a specific token. This feature provides effective management and visibility into the status of remote verifications.
