Liveness checks with Metric

There are two liveness check options available:

Type 1: This process uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to determine the genuine presence of a real person to validate the verification.


Type 2: This process uses a combination of flashing lights and AI to determine the genuine presence of a real person to validate a verification.

Setting your Liveness Check​

To set your preferred liveness check:

  1. Login to your account on Metric Partners
  2. Go to Settings > Customization > Verification Settings. You'll find options to select the liveness type for web verification.

Important Note

You can select only ONE option at a time. The selected liveness check applies to the entire organization's verification processes, including Remote Verifications, verifications made via the partners platform, and verifications made via the web SDK.
